Rex Jackson:  Chief Pilot / Director of Operations

Rex Jackson

Chief Pilot Rex Jackson was born and trained in New Zealand but has since spent 25 years flying in Africa where his experience ranges from anti-poaching in Tanzania to Aid flying with MSF in the Democratic Republic of Congo. To date he has accumulat- ed 7,500 flight hours and has spent 10 years flying with Governors’ Aviation.

Charles Wachira: Pilot / Head Of Safety

Charles Wachira

Charles Wachira joined Governors’ Aviation as a Captain and Head of Safety in June 2017. As a seasoned pilot, he brings with him a wealth of experience having held various positions including Training Captain, Safety and General Manager. Charles has over 3,000 hours of flight time within East Africa and mainly the Masai Mara region.


 

 

Anup Lottey: Pilot / Head Of Training

Anup LotteyAnup Lottey was born and trained in Nairobi Kenya. Has a total of 5 years flying experience accumulating to 5,000 hours. He has flown in Somalia for a year and in Kenya he has been flying visitors to various destinations including Maasai Mara, Malindi, Diani Beach, Mombasa and Lamu. 

He is licensed to fly Cessna: 208, PA-34, C-150, C-152and C-172. He is also a qualified flight instructor with 1300 hours of instruction.


 Samira Khan: Pilot 

Samira KhanSamira Khan has been flying as a commercial pilot for 20 years now. Born in Kenya and trained to fly in South Africa, she started her career in the General Aviation sector in Kenya on Twin turboprop aircraft. She then moved on to become an airline pilot for over a decade flying Boeing's 737, 767 and 777 and also for the national carrier, Kenya Airways.

Having gained enough experience in different aviation fields and logged 9500 hours in total, she is now happy to be back to the world of 'Bush Flying' with Governors' Aviation.
